Welcome to The Boardwalk, a family-owned destination on the St. Joseph River, thoughtfully created by Matt and Kathryn.

Their story began in Grand Rapids, with a wedding of their own along the northern shores of Lake Michigan. They’ve lived on the West Coast and traveled around the world, but nothing is better than a summer in West Michigan.

In 2020 they came upon the opportunity to develop this secluded paradise into a wedding and event venue. After years of construction, renovation, and landscaping, The Boardwalk opened its doors in July of 2022, offering a setting where elegance and nature meet.
